Company description:Exertis UKJob description:We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our team at our Burnley Business Park site. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment dealing with a high volume of payments and queries with a customer base of around 30 to 40 accounts.To be successful in this role as a Credit Controller you will need to be highly competent at resolving invoice queries through problem solving and effective relationship building. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract with a view to potentially go permanent,Your day to day as a Credit Controller Operate all established collection procedures using initiative, imagination and flexibility to achieve targeted expectations/results while promoting customer goodwill To contact customers regarding all unpaid items following up communications frequently To maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records To monitor daily all computer output and incoming correspondence, ensuring that customer queries are resolved promptly and accurately To develop and maintain harmonious and effective working relationships with all customers, departmental colleagues, sales and customer services personnel and, where necessary, to make visits to resolve problems and promote co-operation To maintain efficient, responsive customer focused links with order handling operations to monitor debt accumulation on accounts requiring constant view Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.Skills and experience Previous credit control experience Experience with debit notes/sales ledger desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills Excellent relationship building skills Self-motivated and responsible Excellent attention to detail Competent user of Microsoft Office products Highly numerate/ literateWhats in it for youIts important to us that our people love what they do and in turn we put together a benefits package that rewards a job well done.
