Their HQ is based here in the North East, and we are excited to be advertising a full-time, permanent, HR Generalist role that will report into the HR Manager. Youll be joining a small,friendly and supportive team, and you will be excited to make this HR generalist role your own!Our client is looking for an individual with HR and recruitment experience with enthusiasm to support a growing business, whilst continuing to develop your own confidence and exposure within HR!You will be looking to develop into a generalist HR advisor who isnt afraid to work autonomously and move at a fast pace.Role Includes:

  • Supporting local workforce projects such as retention strategies, workforce planning, HR policy development, absence management
  • Providing recruitment support and leading on the candidate journey for our potential new employees, as our client moves towards a direct recruitment model
  • Working closely with managers on all employee relations issues alongside the HR manager.
  • Improving line management capability through effective coaching and guidance
Essential Criteria:
  • Must have manufactoring experience
  • Previous HR experience at either Advisor or Officer level
  • Recruitment experience
  • Ideally completed or studying towards CIPD Level 3/5
  • Experience of working with and developing policies and procedures
  • Excellent Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Demonstrates tact and diplomacy with a confidential and professional approach to work
  • Ability to effectively working in changing environment, using your naturally strong communication and listening skills
  • An enthusiastic team player
