Job Description

The role will also require the candidate to consistently develop theirknowledge and understanding of this highly technical and dynamic environment.Business Function:The Systems team are part of a Systems and Projects team, which administer monthly, annual and ad-hoc events for BAE Systems. The teams knowledge spans all BAE schemes and as well as system administration, the systems team also provides a supportive functionto the administration, finance and projects teams within the department. The role would involve having direct involvement in the delivery of BAU tasks, mainly processing monthly payroll interfaces.Core duties and responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Support bulk processes and load interface files
Assist in systems work and take responsibility in completing deadlines
Assist in the operation of Pension systems (Compendia), which currently holds data in respect of approximately 220,000 members
Logging of system errors and assisting in their resolution
Ensure data integrity is maintained to a suitable standard
Provide support and guidance to Pension Services with ad hoc data issues and report writing from Compendia
Support Visual Basic Applications and be able to fix the problems.
