Over the next five years we have ambitiousplans to double the size of our business, increasing our annual revenue to £200 million, and we need the best talent the industry has to offer to help us achieve this.About the role:As a Network Engineer you will be part of a team of technical experts managing the iomart National and International Networks and be responsible for assisting with the technical delivery of all iomart managed hosting customers and network services. You willmanage systems to ensure 100% uptime for the network infrastructure and work closely with the Group Network Manager to ensure we maintain 100% uptime for our customers. As a subject matter expert you will be one of the go to people for network related queriesincluding, but not limited to, technical design, best practices and deployment methodologies. Part of your role will include the investigation and diagnosis of network related incidents reported by customers and you will liaise with Upstream Providers andpeers where necessary.This role may be remote or based in Glasgow, Manchester, London or Gosport but you must be willing to travel to any of our UK locations as required. Furthermore, you will provide on-call support for essential services/critical incidents as part of a rotaso it is essential that you are comfortable with being on-call.The ideal candidate for the role will have/be:
