What youll be doing: As an Infrastructure Engineer specialising in storage, you will work as part of a team and be responsible for managing and maintaining the storage systems we operate. You will ensure we continue to deliver the high levels of availability and performancethat our customers, our business and the platforms they underpin expect. As a Subject Matter Expert you be the final point of escalation internally and will liaise with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and resolve issues as quickly as possibleand with minimum customer impact. We want to hear from you if you: Have experience in the following;

Supporting SAN storage platforms
iSCSI and Fibre channel SAN
Switch configuration and troubleshooting using Cisco MDS / Brocade Fibre channel switches
Fibre channel Zoning though CLI
Understanding and troubleshooting fibre connectivity
Understanding of file and block level storage
Familiarity with VMWare and / or Hyper-V
Various ways of connecting SANs to platforms
Understanding of VLANs and VLAN configurationBasic network troubleshooting skills

The following knowledge, experience and skills are advantageous although not essential:

Experience of configuring and troubleshooting any or all of EMC Unity / VNX / VMAX / Equalogic / Compellant
Experience of Avamar, Data domain and Cohesity, VMware virtualisation
Strong understanding of the technologies and challenges in growing small/medium
Virtualizations platforms
Experience of P2V technologies
Experience of managing infrastructure/technical services in a hosted environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Powershell / PowerCLI Scripting
