Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available with a highly successful and established organisation based in Maryhill, for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. This family owned company have been established for over 50 years andare market leading in their field, offering a full suite of services and equipment to the licenced trade.The Accounts Payable Assistant will sit within the finance team, and will be responsible for processing and paying supplier invoices in line with agreed payment terms and SLAs. Responsibilities include:

  • Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices
  • Preparing BACS payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Managing supplier relationships and queries
  • Updating and maintaining the supplier database
  • Processing some expenses
  • Allocating payments and refunds
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
Some purchase ledger experience is required, if you have some experience of processing invoices then please do apply. The role is office based in Maryhill with free parking on site, and good access to public transport links. Working hours are 35 hours perweek, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch.
