Workchain is looking for a Experience Stairlift Engineer for our Client based in Coventry.Role overviewWe have an exciting opportunity for aStairliftTechnicianto join our team working in our East Midlands area. And attending our Worcester or Coventry depot weekly for storage and collections. You will spend the majority of your time across Staffordshire,working as part of an engaged and motivated team for a company that is committed to reward and recognition for a job well done.Our client is a rapidly expanding business, with a mission to provide a unique service that will ensure all our valuedcustomers receive the care, assessment, and mobility equipment to enable them tolive as independently as possible.The role:We are looking for experienced engineers to attend to maintenance visits, emergency callouts and installations on various types and makes of Stairlifts, in house and manufacturer led training programmes will be put in place for the successful candidate(s)to both refresh existing skills and develop new ones. you will undertakepre-delivery inspection of all products and undertakethe installation of stair lifts and handover of community equipment to a service user at their home and/or other locations as required. Products are to be scanned into the home and scanner synchronised on return to the service centre.These activities must be carried out in accordance with procedures.Removals - you will be responsible for the removal and collection of stair lifts and on return to the service centre they must be scanned to the quarantine area. These must be carried out in accordance with procedures.Repairs – you will carry out repairs when scheduled. If unable to repair, then arrange for product replacement using established procedures.You will be responsible for ensuring your van stock levels are maintained to the specified levels and that all spare parts that are used are scanned to a specific job number.About you:Previous experience in the Stairlift industry is necessary, electronics or engineering would be an advantage.A very good level of relevant experience.Experience of working within a registered ISO9002 company within set quality procedures is desirable.Excellent communication skills are required to interact with internal staff, prescribers, and service users, many of whom will be vulnerable.Flexible and positive approach to work.Must hold a full, valid UK Driving LicenceWhat can we offer youAn attractive salary of £32,000Working great hours, Monday – Friday 08.00-17.00 plus opportunity to pick up on-call for additional payA rewards scheme – 200+ exclusive perks and discounts from leading retailers and leisure outletsCompany van and toolsI pad and Mobile phoneUniformIf you are interested in this role and feel you meet the requirments, please apply below and a member of the Workchain team will be in touch.
