Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a SalesAdministratorbased in Binley,Coventry. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 39 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities where required, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £19,500 - £21,500 per annum depending upon experience.About us:Wickman Coventry Ltd is an OEM Machine tool design and manufacturing company now in its 97th year. We produce a specialised range of Multi-Spindle CNC and Automatic Lathes from our factory based in Coventry that are distributed to customersglobally.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, ambitious and fast-paced company with a diverse range of work on offer to a bright and enthusiastic individual.As our SalesAdministrator, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service whilst dealing with incoming enquiries from our customers globally in a prompt manner. Your responsibilities as ourSalesAdministrator will include:
  • Quotingcustomers and processing received sales orders via email and telephone
  • Chasing outstanding customer quotations
  • Raisingand sending purchase orders to our supply chain
  • Communicating with suppliers for delivery updates where required
  • Keeping customers updated on the progress of their orders and rectifying any issues and finding solutions
  • Shipping of goods and issuing invoices once the order is complete
  • Arranging export and import shipments, preparing and submitting necessary documentation
  • Building and retaining positive relationships and rapport with customers and suppliers
  • Liaisingwith various internal departments including Warehouse, Inspection, Accounts and Technical
  • Producing/updatingthe daily sales report on orders quoted and received
  • Working within the team to achieve monthly target
  • Maintaining the department filling system
  • Updating CRM to maintain accurate records
  • Undertaking occasional reception duties
  • Other duties requested by Directors from time to time

  • Hardworking, honest, punctual and reliable
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • A background in customer service with a basic understating of the sales process
  • A proactive team player but also able to use own initiative and work independently
  • A confident communication manner both verbally and in writing
  • Good Telephone manner
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Must have basic MS office skills
  • Microsoft Navision understanding would be advantageous but not essential - training will be given
