Our manufacturing Client based in Hoo is looking for a Warehouse Operative. Salary: £11.50 ph / £13ph - for FL DriversLocation: Hoo - car driver requiredBenefits: 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays. Increasing to 27 days after completion of 5 continuous years service, Pension Scheme, Secure on-site parkingWarehouse Operative job purpose:To take ownership and responsibility for the accurate, efficient, and timely actions necessary in the good order and flow of materials throughout the company from receipt to despatch.Warehouse Operative responsibilities and duties:

Receiving product into the business
Offloading supplies from vehicles and containers
Checking that goods are in line with the suppliers advice note and the purchase order
Using handheld bar code equipment to affect the appropriate stock transactions
Movement of goods to designated areas
Picking and issuing of components to the shop floor in a controlled manner
Recording the transactions through use of bar code equipment
Receiving materials from the shop floor in to allocated stores locations
Picking product and making ready for despatch against customer orders and packing instructions
Preparing scrap materials for sale
Wrapping, marking, and weighing of goods in readiness for dispatch
Updated company records recording the transaction
Loading vehicles and containers safely for transit to destination
