Job Description

Our manufacturing Client is seeking an experienced Production Planner. The job role is offered on a 3 month direct contract, paid monthly PAYE.

Must have BTEC/GCSE and A Levels including Maths and English grade C or above.
Higher Education or equivalent (Desirable) e.g. Btec/HNC/HND

Salary: depending on experienceLocation: Hoo - car driver required - no hybrid workingHours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pmFriday 7:30am to 12:30pm.Benefits: Discretionary Bonus Scheme, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 27 days after completion of 5 continuous years service. Pension scheme, secure on-site parking.Reporting to the Planning and Purchasing Managers this role will plan the supply of products and materials from supply chain through manufacturing, to meet customers expectations, on time.Production Planner skills / experience required:

1+ years experience in a supply chain or planning position, ideally within manufacturing
Experience of statistical reporting, forecasting and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
Strong communication skills (verbal/ written), able to communicate effectively with suppliers and staff at all levels
Systematic approach to problem solving.
Ability to manage ERP parameters
Be an excellent team player.
Excellent attention to detail.
