Job Description

New opportunity to work for a leading manufacture in Medway.Job Title: Purchasing ApprenticeSalary: Apprenticeship pay rates applicableLocation: Hoo - must have own transportHours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pmFriday 7:30am to 12:30pm.Job Type: Full-time, Site based - one day at CollegeBenefits include:

Job Summary: as a Purchasing Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing team in various tasks related to the acquisition of goods and services necessary for the organisation. This role offers hands-on experience inthe purchasing process, supplier management, and negotiation, providing a foundation for a successful career in purchasing.Qualifications/Skills:
  • Ideally educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Minimum education grade 4 GCSE in English and Maths
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - verbal and written.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Organised and methodically minded
  • Computer literate
