Job Description

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to work in an established team within an extremely busy Technical Sales environment! Situated within a close team setting, you will work with a Technical Project Manager and Business Development Manager in managing customers through the process of specification and supply of their product. You will work with European distribution partners, advising where necessary, project managing and driving the administration process of complex orders as well as communicating with the team.You will ensure customers receive a successful project management experience from first enquiry to post installation. Some customer visits with either the Technical or Business Development Manager will be required.LOCATION: COTGRAVE, NOTTINGHAM (DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL)SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000 PER ANNUM, D.O.EAttributes/Skills/Experience:

  • You must have a pleasant, friendly and helpful attitude at all times and be able to contribute positively to the team environment by establishing and maintaining strong, inter-departmental relationships.
  • You need to possess a wide range of skills and have the ability to deliver a smooth process to everyone in the chain. An exemplary communicator with sharp attention to detail, you will have proven organisation skills.
  • You are an individual able to apply a consistent methodology from initiation of quotations, through costing processes, understanding the sales procedure and finally reaching post installation.
  • Keeping the team and our customer informed, ensuring that any exceptions i.e. timescales, budget, quality, are escalated and resolved quickly and efficiently is paramount.
  • Strong planning skills are essential along with experience of working in a fast paced, pragmatic and hands on environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to build relationships with a wide range of people encompassing all levels of seniority is essential.
  • You must be able to work under pressure, set priorities and manage workloads in order to meet deadlines, while remaining continuously aware of all aspects of the project.
  • Competent in Word, Excel, Outlook, you should have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office with IT skills at a minimum of intermediate level across the board.
