Job Description

I am recruiting for Band 5 nurses for the Hertfordshire Community NHS TRUST to work within the adult community in-patient service and lead the way in a brand-new position within the trust reporting to the ward sisters at the service.This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic trust within the NHS who are dedicated to their patients and can offer great room for you to develop your skills and create a clear career path for yourself while working for the community trustResponsibilities of a Staff Nurse:

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care using evidence based practice and guidelines.
Liaising and working collaboratively with the MDT.
To attend all mandatory training.
To assist and support staff in the management of the ward and to ensure that in their absence, the effective management of the ward is maintained.
Central to providing high quality care.
You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to complete appropriate competency development portfolio.

Qualifications & Skills required to be a Staff Nurse:

Registered General Nurse
Relevant post-registration.
To demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.
Good communication skills
Ability to work flexibility
Basic Literacy skills
Common sense approach to problem solving.
Basic numeracy skills
