Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join this growing premium food business in a new role as a Procurement / Purchasing Administrator with lots of opportunity to develop. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, you may have purchasing experience or could be anexperienced Administrator looking to a new challenge!About the Company:Our client have recently had new investment and are growing the business. We are looking for talented individuals to join the team.About the role Procurement Assistant:

  • The role of Purchasing Assistant will be to Input and maintain contracts & pricing within SAP.
  • Identify key milestones, termination dates within contracts to allow for decisions on recontracting to be made.
  • The Purchasing Assistant will support with benchmarking & tender processes.
  • Maintain price trackers and market data information.
  • SAP data management.
  • Liaise with planning to ensure orders are being acknowledged and deliveries made as requested.
  • Request / chase samples for NPD.
  • Run various daily, weekly and monthly reports and action accordingly.
About you:
  • Highly organised and methodical approach, with high level attention to detail is essential.
  • Analytical mindset, with ability to research, scrutinise, analyse and present material clearly and concisely.
  • Can do, proactive attitude is a must have along with the ability to work quickly and accurately to short timelines is essential.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Willing to learn and comfortable with working on own initiative.
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
