Job Description

Learning andDevelopment ManagerHybrid role – 2 days a week in the field, 3 days a week working from home – one day a month at Head Office in Whyteleafe, Surrey Great benefits including 50% staff discount and a day off for your Birthday!We are on the lookout for a talented and dynamic Learning & Development Manager to own the training for our brilliant colleagues across our Retail stores. This is a great opportunity to join our award-winning L&D team (yes, they really are that impressive!)and play a pivotal role in the success of our learning strategy, taking ownership for designing and delivering impactful training initiatives.This role would be perfect for someone who is naturally inquisitive, a lifelong learner and passionate about making an impact.   • Create and deliver training that is consistent, engaging and insightful, encompassing product training, customer service training, sales training and leadership skills
  • Measure and report on KPI performance, identifying the synergy between the training solutions and the performance
  • Work with the Regional Business Managers and Retail Controller to identify learning gaps and opportunities based on insights and data
  • Maintain a digital focus in the delivery of all training, hosting both live and pre-recorded training sessions across multiple internal platforms
  • Build blended learning solutions on our learning platform, THRIVE, impacting and supporting our teams in the most effective way
  • Ensure a robust onboarding process in Retail, striving to retain and develop new talent to the business from day one
  • Ensure ongoing development for our store management; coaching, supporting and upskilling them to be incredible leaders
  • Grow and develop our internal progression programme in Retail, Step Up, to support internal talent to reach their full potential and grow their careers
  • Lead the CDMs (Colleague Development Managers) and Toy Talks team to support in developing and delivering brilliant learning solutions across Retail
