An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Assistant Merchandiser to join our Channel Merch team to optamise our stores and online trade performance. We’re looking for someone who is a real whizz on Excel, is passionate about analysis andstrategy, and has the ability to drive performance through exceptional use of data.You’ll be super commercial and love making an immediate impact on trade performance, mentoring MAA’s within the team to be able to do the same. • Demonstrates a good understanding of target vs current stock levels and reviews against performance, ensuring all stores are stocked to deliver sales budgets and forecasts across categories and key lines whilst minimising markdown spend. This includes sizeprofiling (softs only), location/product profiling and full-price sell-through optimisation.
• Manage intake to deliver regular flow newness, SKU availability and end of season terminal stock targets.
• Undertakes regular performance reviews across stores to ensure financial targets are on track. Identify trends, risks & opportunities, understand underlying factors & take appropriate action to maximise opportunities/mitigate risks.
• Identify problems, find solutions & revise plans/actions promptly to resolve issues.
• Identify missed opportunities and suggest actions that drive store performance.
• In conjunction with your Junior Merchandiser and Retail Managers develop the stock strategy for our stores, ensuring there are clear building blocks and commercial KPIs reflecting business strategy.
• Measures and reports effectiveness of all activity, such as markdown, promotion and trialling product.
• Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assists in the training and development, as well as support the Merchandising Admin Assistant in the day to day running of the department.
• Be an ambassador for the business and champion our Ann Summers brand values at all times.
• Lead and role model our brand andpeople values in my team and across the business.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or an established Merchandising Admin Assistant.
• An expert understanding of Excel, with an ability to pick up systems quickly.
• A passion for influencing performance through data analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen, to identify problems and produce solutions.
• An outstanding attention to detail
• Able to make it happen and push boundaries in a fast-paced, fun and dynamic environment.
• An affinity with our brand and is an authentic ambassador of our people values.
