This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the educational mission of our school while playing a key role in managing our data assets.Position Overview: As a Data Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of our data assets to support informed decision-making and enhance educational outcomes. Working closely with faculty and staff, you will manage dataacquisition, storage, and analysis processes, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic educational environment and make a meaningful impact on student success.Key Responsibilities:* Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure the integrity and security of our data assets.* Oversee data acquisition processes, including data collection, storage, and maintenance.* Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify data needs and requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs.* Conduct data analysis to extract insights and inform decision-making across the school.* Establish and enforce data governance best practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.* Lead efforts to clean, organize, and maintain data quality to support accurate reporting and analysis.* Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications:* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.* 1 years of experience in data management or a related role, preferably in an educational setting.* Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and staff.* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.* Experience with educational data systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor) is a plus.Location and Benefits:* Located in Surrey, our school is easily commutable from surrounding areas.* Competitive salary and benefits package, including pension scheme and generous holiday allowance.* Opportunities for professional development and career advancement within a supportive educational community.* Dynamic and inclusive work environment with a focus on collaboration and student success.* Up to £38,000 Per Annum
