You will inspire managers and provide them with the tools and knowledge to fosterand promote employee engagement within their teams.So what would you be doing...

  • Develop and implement the ongoing internal communications strategy to inspire, inform and engage employees, tailoring communication for different business areas to ensure messages are landed effectively
  • Create an internal communications plan, liaising with senior stakeholders to incorporate updates from all business functions as well as strategic business announcements.
  • Manage the day-to-day internal communications activity, creating visibility of key activity across the business
  • Develop and define new and existing internal communications platforms as appropriate, starting with the new Learning Experience Platform being launched in 2022.
  • Design, develop and deliver an engagement strategy plan and calendar for all areas of the business that reflects the Ann Summers culture and aims to surprise & delight our colleagues (including business updates)
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, P&T, and Business Comms on the delivery of all major colleague events across the business.
  • Create and manage colleague surveys to gauge colleague opinion, and work with the business leaders on engagement strategies in areas such as wellbeing, employee recognition and benefits.
  • Lead and develop employee recognition and incentives that are aligned to brand values and culture; including areas such as length of service and employee of the quarter.
  • Develop and evolve charity partnerships, engaging employees to support in local and annual events.
  • Play a key role within the team developing the employer brand and corporate website and equipped to include this throughout our internal comms

  • A proven track record in internal communications, ideally within the Retail, Leisure or Hospitality industry
  • Experience leading engagement and recognition activity/projects

  • The ability to build strong relationships across several departments, partnering and influencing to work cohesively.
  • Analytical thinking, considering all data and insight to get the best result
