As a Category Manager for Onboard Food, Beverage, and Hotel at DFDS, youll navigate the thrilling realm of passenger food trends, utilizing your strong communication skills to forge connections and bridge gaps.Reporting to the Head of Onboard, youll be the linchpin between consumer insights, marketing, and commercial teams, ensuring our offerings stay ahead. With over 5 years in Food or Food Service Category Management, join our expanding team and thrive in thefast-paced, exciting environment of DFDS.You will be responsible for:

  • Utilising analyses and insights to develop overall category strategies.
  • Commercial reporting and Margin management
  • Managing stock levels in warehouses so we have the right amount for the operation.
  • Analyse and understand passenger food trends and consumer insight.
  • Across all F&B outlets, ensure that new menus and offerings are briefed out in advance to the agreed timescales and full packs on all detail are provided to the ships and Hobs.
  • Provide detailed help guides as needed to resolve issues flagged.
  • Work with OBS Commercial Manager and OBS Marketing Manager, to get the right Implementation processes and detail.
  • Ensure there is weekly communication with Marketing team, so they have the latest updates.
  • Gather information and recommend updates to specifications from Onboard teams and present to Head of food & beverage.
  • Working with suppliers and utilizing supplier insights to develop the assortment in specific outlets.
