Our mission is simple, to help the world love Mondays.We are working with a Local Authority client in Whetstone, Leicester, seeking a Waste Transfer Station Team Leader to oversee the management and operation of a busy site.Pay rate: £13.44PAYE+ 12.07% holiday accrual or £15.67 UmbrellaLocation:Whetstone, Leicester.Contract: The initial contract length is6 Months but there is the possibility of extension.Working pattern:Hours to be agreed with line manager but expected to be between 35 and 50 hours per week between the hours of 6am and 6pm. Working patterns may include some weekend / Bank Holiday work.Role purpose:The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and operation of a variety of plant and equipment that will include HGV, loading shovels, telehandlers, and forklift trucks for the efficient and effective transfer of waste from busy WasteTransfer Station.The role will also involve supervision of employees and staff training and development and ensuring that your team maximises the recovery of recyclables within waste and safely controls deliveries from private traders and district councils.The role requires a proactive, flexible, can do attitude. Effective time-management and problem-solving skills are key attributes.Essential requirements:
