Job Description

Training AdministratorLeicester LE8Salary- £24,000paHours-8-4The OpportunityA vibrant and growing construction company whom operate their own internal training dept for people safety, development and contract compliance purposes require a strong Administrator to join their teamWorking within a busy training department you will be responsible for supporting the Training Team to arrange and schedule training with both internal and external trainers, record keeping and accurate updating of the training database. It is a vital role andinvolves regular contact with construction personnel, Site Supervisors, Contract Managers, support service departments including Finance and Payroll, training providers and awarding bodies. The ability to develop positive, productive and collaborative workingrelationships with a wide variety of partners is key to the role.The Role Prepare new starter induction packs Process and file all new starter personnel and training records ensuring correct information passed onto Payroll Accurately process all internal and external training records in line with current process Maintain all training record sign off templates, amending when required Proactively review the renewal of NPORS, CPCS and CSCS tickets ensuring relevant categories are actioned Book health & safety tests and order the relevant construction cards for all personnel Prepare all learning literature and joining instructions for delegates in line with current process Communicate with Contract Managers, Site Supervisors and delegates to ensure joining instructions have been received and that delegates attend their training and confirming successfully passed Follow up with awarding bodies to resolve any issues relating to certificates and tickets Follow up on all non-attendance for courses you have booked in line with current process Prepare novice and refresher monthly training reports specifically relating to the card accreditation system for review with the broader Training Team Keep an up-to-date record of costs associated with non-attendance Check all relevant invoices for courses you have booked ensuring they are correct and sent to Finance for payment Complete all weekly labour site changes in Filemaker to include leavers Prepare and share the reports with Site Supervisors and Contract Managers Support the broader Training Team / business when requestedThe CandidateWe are seeking applications from bright, positive and confident Administrators who can demonstrate superb organisation skills and experience gained within a fast-paced role where many plates were spinning at any one timeYoull be an awesome team player, the safe pair of hands everyone can rely on to maintain an efficient admin support function through sound IT skills, process and planning abilities, rectifying problems at the same timeA working knowledge of Excel will be required for this role, preferably to Pivot table level however basic to intermediate formula would be acceptable
