Practice Accountant - (Hybrid Working / Work from Home)Are you an accountant with at least 3 years in Practice looking for a new roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant with experience to join a forward thinking, Independent Accountancy Practice based on the Derbyshire / Staffordshire borders, in the wonderful location of the grounds of Sudbury HallOur offices are located in a newly converted Stable Block, just off the A50 in peaceful tranquil surroundings, with no worries of parking for staff.As we are a flexible practice, the role could be either full time or part-time, and a hybrid role, working in the office and at home.We are an organisation that is always looking for a more efficient way of working, innovating and challenging the way we do things, so your ideas will be valued.This position would be ideal for someone looking to progress into a more supervisory role.What the role entailsHave at least 3 years post-qualification experience in practice or be qualified by experienceTake a balance sheet approach to preparing accounts for companies, sole traders and partnershipsBe able to advise business owners in basic tax planningAn understanding of payroll, VAT, Corporate and Personal TaxPassionate about educating clients on the best tax, accounting or bookkeeping practices, systems, or processes for their businessBe a Xero expert (with a knowledge of Sage, and QuickBooks being handy)What will you receive by working with us Salary range is between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum based on full-time position and experience20 Days holiday plus bank holidays as a minimum.
