Job Description

Summary Working within a lively atmosphere as part of hard-working team, youll play a key part in providing fantastic customer service.We can offer you some of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in the UK to work in as well as one of the loveliest country houses.Its an exciting time to join the team at Sudbury Hall, opportunity to help shape and support such a wonderful building.Interviews would be week starting 27th February 2023 What its like to work here Reporting to the Facilities Manager and working with the Facilities Coordinator, youll work alongside a small facilities team, across the whole property, including individual working over weekends and schools holidays / bank holidays on a rota basis.The Childrens Country House at Sudbury focuses on creating a space where children and families can engage with heritage. We want our visit to be playful, accessible and inclusive across the museum, garden and house.Youll maintain our facilities to a high standard. Working together with other departments to help provide a positive experience at The Childrens Country House. What youll be doing As the Facilities Assistant, youll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation of our buildings and outdoor spaces. Youll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities are kept in good workingorder.Regular duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. Youll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries. Youll ensure our health and safety compliance responsibilitiesare kept to the highest standard.Youll provide the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a customer comes first attitude.Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert.
