Our client is a successful and reputable Trade Association group who offers various accredited memberships to both individuals and larger businesses across the country. Due to team expansion, they are looking to acquire the services of a Skills and CareersOfficer to join the team on a full-time basis and work one day a week from home. You will be responsible for implementing and coordinating an education and outreach programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Membership Body and be partof a progressive team, The ideal candidate will have previous experience or a relationship with the Agricultural/Horticulture sector.Please note: Due to location, a driving license and own transport is essential for this role. There is free parking on site.Main Responsibilities* Reaching out to existing and signing up new ambassadors and matching to events in the local area.* Distributing materials and assets to ambassadors when events have been agreed* Templating the academy curriculum framework.* To support and manage the school/college volunteers training, communication and DBS checking.* Organise and attend careers events.* Collaborate with marketing to expand the reach of messaging to including guest blogging, podcasts and social posts.* Search for new markets and plan attendance at events that attracts new entrant.* Arrange venue and materials for academy pilot events and gather feedback.* Gathering images and videos documenting techniques showcased at the academy pilot events.* Preparing YouTube and social content promoting the Academy using media assets from the pilot events.* Recruit for and establish key landscape subject working groups.Key skills & experience* Previous experience in the Agricultural/Horticulture sector.* Previous experience in a careers-based role would be advantageous.* Ability to work off your own initiative.* Customer-centric mentality.* Excellent writing & communication skills.Additional information:* Working Hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (37.5 hours) 1-hour lunch break, 1 day a week working from home.If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability/notice period.
