Plasterer / Bricklayer£27,976.86 + Company VehicleNorthallertonFull TimePermanentDo you have experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sectorDo you want to join a Company that put their people first Where you will be valued and respected so you can achieve your full potentialWe have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused Bricklayer / Plasterer to join our team and carry out bricklaying, roofing and other wet trade repairs to properties owned or managed by Broadacres.About the roleThe successful candidate will be working across North Yorkshire conducting ensuring a pride in the work completed is to a defined quality and to relevant technical standards, along with ensuring that appropriate records and necessary paperwork is completedaccurately.Were looking for a candidate that holds a relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate, relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and/or minimum of a relevant NVQ LevelAbout youWith demonstrable experience of bricklaying and plastering, you will have worked within housing repair / maintenance and be accustomed to liaising with the public. Youll be able to diagnose maintenance problems and implement solutions that are completedin a timely manner. There will be a variety of duties to complete including brick work, plaster and render repairs, repointing works, as well as roofing and associated works to domestic properties / public buildings. Youll also have a good understanding ofhealth and safety in the workplace and adhere to all necessary safety requirements.Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a valid driving licence, have the ability and confidence to drive.What we can offer in return: A competitive salary and annual leave entitlement Extra day of annual leave for birthdays totalling 32 (inc. bank holidays) pro rata.
