Job Description

Multi Skilled JoinerNorthallerton, North Yorkshire£32,110.50 per annum plus Company Van Full Time - Flexible hours (working over 5 days OR can be part of the 4 day trial condensed working week)Permanent Do you have experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sectorDo you want to join a Company that put their people first Where you will be valued and respected so you can achieve your full potentialOur client now has an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join them to carry out repairs across multiple trade disciplines to properties owned or managed by the company.About the role As a Multi Skilled Joiner will carry out repairs to their properties ensuring that the work is completed to the highest quality and to relevant technical standards whilst delivering an excellent repairs experience for their customers.Undertaking core joinery work and property repairs, you’ll be involved in replacing sanitary ware, kitchen unit repairs and will make required adaptations to properties. You will also undertake minor plumbing, tiling, plastering, flooring and painting /decorating work as required.About you They are looking for an individual with:

  • A relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate
  • A recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or minimum of a relevant NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent
  • Experience working in the housing repair / maintenance sector.
  • Experience of dealing with the public.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload to meet targets.
  • The ability to diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions.
  • The ability to undertake maintenance work across a number of separate trades.
  • Knowledge of construction methods.
You are also required to hold a full driving licence.What they can offer in return:
