Kitchen / Catering Assistant - Hospitality x2 Leyburn x 1; Mobile x 1 working across our 4 schemes in Northallerton, Brompton and Stokesley £10.90 per hour / £21,029.27 FTE Part Time - 21 hours per weekPermanent Sociable Hours (shifts are between 8am and 5.30pm) Our client now has opportunities for Kitchen / Catering Assistants to join their fantastic kitchen team!The roles: 1 x 21 hours per week - Leyburn, North Yorkshire1 x 21 hours per week hour - mobile role working across the 4 schemes in in Northallerton, Brompton and StokesleyBusiness mileage covered in line with their policy between sitesAs a not-for-profit organisation they provide a comprehensive range of services to over 6,000 homes, and extra care schemes. With their aim to be the Best Rural Housing Association in the country, they are looking for great people to join them!If you think you could blend’ into their hardworking kitchen team in a busy restaurant / bistro, they’d love to hear from you!For the mobile role it is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a car for business purposes.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out cleaning duties to a high standard within the kitchen and dining area, ensuring all preparation areas and equipment are kept clean
  • Assisting the chefs to plate meals and prepare food trolleys
  • Preparing the dining room for meal service and serving food and drinks to residents and customers
  • Acting as Front of House’, ensuring that meals run smoothly, providing a hosting service before and after meals.
About you Their ideal candidate will:
  • Be highly customer focussed
  • Have the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Hold a Level 1 NVQ in catering, or equivalent, or be prepared to work towards one
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car for business purposes.
