Job Title: Supply Coordinator Contract: Part Time, Permanent (25 hours a week-flexible on start and finish times) Location: North Leicester, Leicestershire Salary: £14ph SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Supply Co-ordinator to manage the supply pipeline from sub contract manufacturers and third party suppliers through to the installation and support teams in UK, Middle East and Australia. You will manage supply contracts for overhead consumables, energy, telecommunications, maintenance, and fleet management As a Supply Coordinator your role will be to manage company suppliers, ensure that product purchased is competitively priced and built to specification, to ensure stock availability at all times, to manage the warehouse, to be responsible for the storesperson,to ensure all systems are up to date and accurate at all times, to control vehicle and administration expenses your daily responsibilities could include the below: - Complete parts and component supplier assessments in conjunction with Technical Department - Ensure preferred and back up sub contract manufacturers are approved and available for all Monika products - Ensure contracts and NDAs are in place for all key suppliers - Ensure subcontract manufacturers are kept up to date with the latest product specifications - Ensure that suppliers deliver to schedule at required quality standards along with testing documentation - Manage supplier price increase requests based on justified cost increases. - Ensure Supplier details are up to date - Obtain product requirements forecasts from operating divisions on a monthly basis - Compile the company product requirements forecast - Review outstanding product and parts orders monthly, flex forward delivery schedules as required - Place new product and parts orders as required by the forecast - Place orders for approved off the shelf consumables on a max/min basis - Expedite supplier deliveries as required - Maintain Engineers maintenance van stocks with approved parts at authorised stock levels - Ensure that all returned parts are quarantined, assessed and non compliances documented - Issue and process credit request to suppliers for faulty goods or goods not to specification, or for incorrectly priced goods. - Conduct routine stock takes as appropriate or required by Finance - Process any stock adjustments, write-offs and free issues ensuring they are fully authorised - Take action to dispose of obsolete items - Consolidate exports into monthly shipments to minimise freight costs and organise despatch - Prepare all documentation needed for exports - Certificate of Origin etc. - Ensure all parts orders are correctly invoiced - Negotiate local and export freight and carriage - Manage the motor vehicle fleet, including the purchase and disposal of vehicles, insurance, maintenance and finance - Obtain hire vehicles as and when required, ensuring covered for insurance - Manage building and office maintenance and supplies - Manage telecommunications - Manage utilities What we are looking for: - Likely be in, or have recently been in, a similar role ideally in a manufacturing environment - Have an inclusive but firm approach to supply stakeholders meeting their commitments. - Good internal collaboration and communication skills. - Adept at sourcing consumables and services on the best terms. - Strong on systems compliance and following procesdures. - Microsoft excel literate
