Job Description

The OpportunityNigel Wright are delighted to be exclusively supporting The eaga Trust with their search for a Property Manager.The eaga Trust provides members, who are all one-time partners of eaga, with access to a wide range of benefits including exclusive access to UK wide Holiday homes.The Holiday Homes benefit supports Members wellbeing, offering the opportunity of a holiday with family or friends. The Holiday Home Property Manager will be based in the UK and will work closely with and report to the Senior Ambassador (Holiday Homes). TheProperty Manager will have responsibility for the day to day operations and administration of a portfolio of the Trust’s holiday home properties. The role will be home based or from The eaga Trust office. However, the role will require regular travel and attimes extensively, with time away from home, tomanage their portfolio of holiday home properties.Key ResponsibilitiesSpecific Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Work with the CEO and Senior Ambassador(Holiday Homes) to implement budgets for the maintenance and refurbishment of the Trust properties.
  • Provide friendly, professional and helpful engagement with Trust Members, referring benefit enquiries from Trust Members to the appropriate Trust Ambassador.
  • Undertake the effective property management of the Trust’s Holiday Homes so that new properties are refurbished, and maintained to the required standard, for safe and comfortable Member occupation.
  • Undertake the effective facilities management of Holiday Homes including appropriate periodic inspections and maintenance of property furnishings and facilities.
  • Ensure that continuity plans are in place when the property agent/s go on annual leave,to ensure the properties are cleaned, maintained and ID checked as agreed.
  • Ensure the property agents complete an appropriate Member ID check.
  • Work with the nominated Trust Health & Safety Competent Person and understand the relevant regulatory Health & Safety standards that apply to Holiday Home lettings and ensure they are implemented as appropriate.
  • Ensure property agents comply with appropriate legislative and contractual requirements and keep records accordingly.
  • Instruct, build relationships and manage the contractual duties with the property agents,contractors and other external agencies and professionals, as required.
  • Conduct a review of the property agents on a yearly basis, and that all contractual agreements are up to date and signed.
  • Seek continual improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Regularly review the Holiday Home terms and conditions, frequently asked questions and automated communications through the website.
  • Ensure the website and marketing site are up to date with the most relevant information and photographs.
  • Ensure property agents are achieving the highest standards of hygiene,maintenance, security and appearance of the grounds,as relevant to each Holiday Home.
  • Review and reconcile the monthly agent’s invoices and statements and ensure that they are comprehensive and correct
  • To effect arrangements for minor and emergency repairs with an agreed financial limit.
  • To control all supplies and purchases in accordance with nominated suppliers, to ensure that sufficient and adequate equipment is available to run the Holiday Homes,and a regular inventory is undertaken.
  • Provide cover for the other Property Managers and other members of the Holiday Home Team.
  • Work cooperatively and helpfully to set an exemplary example of positive team working.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Ambassador and CEO from time to time.

  • An understanding of the Trust, its aims and the benefits of membership.
  • An ability to review procedures and processes and present conclusions and recommendations effectively.
  • Able to work flexible and business led hours
  • Hold a full clean UK driving license and be willing to travel regularly and at times extensively, with time away from home.
  • Experience of building and maintaining relationships
  • Experience of effective property management
