This role is truly impactful, and youll be rewarded knowingthat your contribution is making a significant difference to the careers of others, and therefore the people we are here to protect.What will the role involve Managing the development and delivery of our people assessment frameworks to ensure compliance and quality across the workforce. Leading promotion and succession planning pathways to ensure they are inclusive, engaging, and effective. Managing the design and delivery of the leadership development framework for all leaders, ensuring we have the right level of skills and behaviours, as well as access to leadership development opportunities. Ensuring our careers framework is fit for purpose and delivers a talented workforce via various career pathways. Leading the management of mentoring and coaching programmes to support colleagues and develop skills and knowledge. Evaluating the effectiveness and cost of all programmes to strengthen capability, increase readiness and address identified and forecasted talent gaps. Providing leadership to the Professional Development and Assessment, Leadership Development and Talent Development teams to support them in their everyday roles and individual development.Youll need the following essential skills and experience: Professional HR qualification (e.g. CIPD) or educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in this specialist area, HR or L&D. Experience of developing whole organisation leadership development interventions with tangible outcomes and impact. Experience of talent and career development approaches that support succession planning. Good knowledge of people assessment frameworks that assess individual performance, skills and behaviours as well as potential. Strategic thinking with a strong commitment to continuous people development and improvement. Evidence of planning and delivering programmes and projects to successful outcomes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver key messages and influence a range of stakeholders at all levels.
