Job Description

Service Manager-Extra Care - Temporary Vacancy Our client is a provider of social housing and based in North Yorkshire. Currently they are seeking an experienced Service Manager - Extra Care for a temporary position.The role is full time working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday. The role is a temporary position for 3 months and offering a competitive hourly rate.The role offers hybrid working between patch visits, home and office.Below is a summary of the duties:

  • Responsible for managing and monitoring all elements of extra care and sheltered housing performance
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction across organisational teams to ensure innovative, customer focused, cost effective services are designed, delivered, monitored and continually improved providing support and advice
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders and with the general housing teams to ensure consistency in approach to housing management.
  • Provide an effective housing management service to extra care & sheltered housing customers, including void management, allocations, ASB and wider tenancy management
  • Monitor team performance where appropriate and delivering all activities in line with organisational values
  • Continually review, develop and implement operational policies, procedures, standards and systems for the service areas to ensure compliance with current regulatory guidance
  • Lead the development of community and social activities for extra care & sheltered housing services
To be considered for the role candidates will need an up to date Basic DBS check and have access to a car with a clean driving license.
