Job Description

Reed Talent Solutions are currently working with a Doncaster based Public Sector organisation to recruit an Administrator on an initial two/three month contract. The post-holder will Provide comprehensive clerical support to the HEART Team to assist andsupport the services users of the directorate.Role Information

  • 2/3 month contract with potential to extend
  • Doncaster - site based location
  • £11 per hour pay rate
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high quality administrative support in setting up and maintaining functional systems which adhere to GDPR.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records both manually and electronically and producing monthly statistical reports.
  • Using the Council’s IT systems to input data, word process letters, memoranda and reports, including work of a confidential nature.
  • Dealing with enquiries from the public, officers of the authority and others, ensuring that these are dealt with and appropriate and feedback is given.
  • The calculation of interim accounts using a charging system unique to the Assistive Technology Team. To create financial individual client and business contracts for VAT & non VAT accounts on the ERP system to ensure the correct charges & payment methodsare applied to the contract identifying direct debit details where appropriate.
  • To monitor clients circumstances in relation to eligibility criteria regarding the Home Alarm Service.
Essential Criteria
  • Experience of operating administrative processes within a busy office environment .
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent understanding of data protection and security of information principles.
  • An understanding of the physical, social and emotional needs of the service users.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to write type and converse information to those who need to be aware.
  • English fluency duty under the Immigration Act 2016 - As you are applying for a customer facing role, you must have the ability to converse easily with customers and provide advice/guidance in accurate spoken English.
