Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for an International Sales Manager to join KCS at this exciting time of growth.Responsible for driving sales and grow KCS market share of educational resources and additional services through KCS’ multi-channel routes to market within the international school’s sector. You will be enabling the local partners and wholly owned consolidator to promote the KCS range of products and services, as well as directly owning the growth strategy and budget delivery of the regional sales plan. You will be the main point of contact, regularly visiting APAC customers to develop brand awareness and grow market share. Working in partnership with other International Sales Managers, Recruitment Manager and third-party partners to build the wider KCS International solution offer.Key Duties:

  • Be the KCS main point of contact for APAC customers, sales distribution partners and wholly owned consolidator
  • Regularly visit APAC based customers offices in order to develop brand awareness and grow KCS market share.
  • Delivery of APAC sales budget.
  • Working in partnership with other International Sales Managers, Recruitment Manager and third-party partners to build the wider KCS International solution offer, including the development of a rewards points-based loyalty scheme.
  • Liaise with customers and trade distribution partners to identify commercial and business development opportunities and undertake market visits when required to develop market understanding to maximize sales and market share.
  • Work to support procurement colleagues to ensure relevant range of new services and resources is available to customers in line with demand.
  • Represent KCS management team on key internal forums, including Sales and Marketing, Product Development and Strategy meetings, to ensure that the needs of International customers in these markets are met and that the voices of the market are heard.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Procurement and Customer Experience teams.
  • You organize yourself, your priorities, and your resources in such a way as to maximise your effectiveness and achieve your objectives.
  • Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets in an education resources-based business
  • Thorough understanding of the educational market and knowledge of International curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to large groups.
  • Proven sales skills across a large portfolio.
  • Proven networking skills and ability to interface with a number of senior level stakeholders.
  • Experience of selling to International schools desirable.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages.
  • Organised and prioritises work to deliver against multiple activities and targets.
  • Please note this role is home based with regular international travel. Benefits include a company lease car. Required skills
