Job Description

Buyer£33k - £38k4 Days OnsiteYolk Recruitment are working with a dynamic and growing company in the healthcare industry, committed to providing high-quality products and services to their customers. This role will be operating within their supply chain team.Role OverviewAs a Buyer within their Supply Chain department, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and services to support their operations. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will contribute to the efficiencyand success of their supply chain processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop strategies to fulfil them effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies in deliveries, quality, or pricing with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software/tools is advantageous.
