Job Description

REED Further Education are working with a college in Birmingham who are looking for a Computing and IT lecturer to teach BTEC level 3, level 2, RQF level 3 and T levels in IT and Computing.There is a 22 hour timetable available over 5 days with travel required between two campuses based at Digbeth and Longbridge Birmingham. They are looking for someone to cover for initially 6 weeks to begin with, but could be required for longer.If the candidate in a the temporary position is a great fit they could be encourage to apply for a permanent position.Job Title: Computing and IT LecturerDuration: Initially for 6 weeks and may be extended past thatSalary: £25 - £30 per hour including holiday payLocation: Digbeth and Longbridge, BirminghamPosition: Temporary, part-time, 22 hoursThe successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

A relevant teaching qualification e.g PGCE, Cert Ed, etc.
Experience of delivering a variety of IT and Computing modules.
Ability to develop learning resources.
Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential.
Engaging and motivating both individuals and learner groups.
Experience working with post-16 students.
Enhanced DBS on the update service.
