Job Description

SHIFT ELECTRICIANWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Shift Electrician to join our Site Services team based in the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside.RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out site electrical and maintenance duties, mainly at our Lea Mills, Matlock site but also, on occasions, at our Armthorpe, Doncaster site

Diagnose and repair electrical problems in an industrial and commercial environment, including fault-finding, rewiring and monitoring.

Assess the parts needed for a job and place orders for those parts

Conduct routine maintenance and testing on industrial and commercial systems Adhering to regulatory and company procedures relating to electrical work

Ability to work alone to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems without receiving explicit direction.

Supporting the Site Services team in day to day maintenance duties

Shift work (6am – 2pm and 2pm to 10pm) for which a Shift Allowance will be payable for unsocial hours (before 7am and after 7pm)

Working to RAMS

Compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures.

Housekeeping

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Experience of working as a Site Electrician on either single or multi-sites

Textile/manufacturing industry knowledge/experience an advantage but not essential

Self-motivated with the ability to build effective working relationships

Relevant certification and qualification for Electrician

Ability to use Excel and other Microsoft related products an advantage

Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

Ability to work as a team and have a flexible approach to their work.

A multi-skill approach to the position would be beneficial
