Job Description

Are you currently looking for an exciting new opportunity within the IT industry Concept are recruiting for an Engineer in the North Birmingham area to configure IT equipment in a workshop environmentYou will be working for a leading IT services company dealing with multiple types of hardware.Details of the role -

  • Workshop based work - completing repairs, refurbishments, modular swaps, unit replacements and staging of IT/ATM Equipment
  • Responsible for testing of the equipment
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8 hour day between hours of 8am and 4pm with a 40 minute break, hours of work may vary at times
  • 3 months initial contract - may extend long term
Experience required -
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a workshop would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills/customer relationship skills required
  • High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude; Experience on maintaining computer hardware , routers, networks, switches, hubs required
  • MUST be able to pass a PES clearance (financial and criminal record check)
You will be paid (£105- £120 per day) DOE on a contract basis - umbrella companyThis role has been assessed and deemed an IR35 role, the above rates are the umbrella company rates
