Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting new role and are based in the Birmingham areaBerry Recruitment are sourcing a number of Class 2 Drivers to work with our Client based over in Birmingham.This role is a Temporary role which can lead to permanent for the successful candidates!Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers products.
  • Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
  • You will bedelivering and collectingfrom several sites with an average of2 to 3 drops per dayacross the UK in accordance with customer requirements on time critical deliveries and collections.
  • Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
  • Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
  • Attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.
  • Due to the nature of the role, nights outmay be required on occasions.
Working Hours / Days:Monday to Friday6.30am-FinishRate of Pay:£13.52 per hourStart Date:ASAPIdeal Candidate:
  • Must have a Class 2 Licence
  • Class 2 Driving experience is preferred
  • Must have your own transport to be able to get to site
