Ecommerce Manager£45,000- £50,000Birmingham The CompanyA wholesale Health and Beauty business that has an excellent and longstanding reputation and offers a variety of products into the market. Office based, working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30amto 5.00pm and an early finish on Friday.The Essence of the RoleThe Ecommerce Manager will drive the B2B online trading strategy, work with the Commercial Team to provide recommendations to improve trade performance. You will have the experience and skill to optimise the end-to-end customer journey onsite to drive conversion.You will be measured on sales and customer behaviour KPIs monitoring sales and profitability.The Scope of the role

  • Understand and develop sources of traffic and the factors that influence email, SEO, PPC, affiliates, social media and catalogues
  • Implement and monitor KPIs on the website and develop plans to improve them
  • Monitor and advise on how breakthrough in the market will impact the customer and how to respond
  • Work with the Commercial Team to develop and implement the online commercial digital plan
  • Deliver regular briefings on the performance of the websites and associated platforms to the Commercial Team
  • Engage with the digital side of the business
  • Liaise with internal and external resources regarding the day-to-day management of the website and implementation of campaigns and upgrades
  • Ensure websites are always functioning to the agreed specification and ensure backup plans are in place
  • Investigate and report any operational/technical issues arising
  • Manage website configuration and extras (e.g. payment options, stock management)
Prerequisites
  • Proven experience in a B2B trade and eCommerce role
  • Excellent working knowledge of Magento
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing channels
  • Proven experience collaborating across teams and managing a team
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable to a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to be both strategic and reactive
