Why join usAPEM specialises in aquatic ecological and hydro morphological survey work throughout the UK with sampling and monitoring of lakes, ponds, canals, rivers, estuary, coastal and marine environments.As the Warehouse & Equipment Manager, some of your duties will includeundertaking routine checks of vehicles, boats and survey equipment,to act as Fire Marshall for the warehouseand maintain vehicles includingoutboard engines, generators andelectric fishingequipment.About the roleThe purpose of thisrole is tomanage the storage, maintenance and servicing of all equipment within the storage facility as well as reporting any issues through the established escalation route.The post holder will also be responsible for fulfilling various H&S requirements within the storage facility to ensure all APEM and legislative requirements are fulfilled.This role is being advertised on a full time and part time basis.About youA practicalperson with experience in relevant work and good general DIY skills, this may include electrical, plumbing or engineering. You will have some IT knowledge as you will need to keep service logs up to date.Driving experience including vans and towing trailers is necessary for this role, and you may also be asked to visit our sites if equipment needs repairing.Next stepsWe are focused on creating a diverse and inclusive team.
