Job Description

Meyer Scott Ref: VR/08031Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 p.a.Location: HuntingdonOur client is looking for a UK Account Manager to help us increase their sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within the UK and Ireland. Some European travel and Exhibition attendance will be required.In this role, they are seeking a candidate with outstanding organizational and sales skills. They expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. If you are also goal-driven and analytical, this could be the role for you.Ultimately, you will ensure that clients are happy and search for ways to grow sales.Responsibilities

  • Devise effective UK/Ireland sales and marketing strategies
  • Analyse data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
  • Conduct training in company product attributes
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within UK and Ireland
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Sales Director
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager within the hygiene sector
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Business experience within the Hygiene Sector will also be considered
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
  • Second European language would be a great advantage to this role
  • Hours: 9am - 5pm unless attending exhibition. Required skills
