We are looking to recruit an individual with a flair for finding crime and a determinationto resolve issues.The post is funded to undertake enforcement activities regarding alcohol and tobacco in support of the Public Health agenda. Specific emphasis will be placed on enforcement of issues relating to illicit tobacco and alcohol and the sale of age restricted productsto underage persons.The nature of the post will require a flexible approach to work including occasionally working outside what are regarded as normal hours. Candidates will need recent experience in enforcement and will also have experience and knowledge of the Regulation ofInvestigatory Powers Act 2000. Other essential qualities will include strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to deal firmly but fairly with people, and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
