Job Description

Talent Recruitment Group are currently working exclusively with an exciting, rapidly growing SME based in Oldham who specialise in the manufacturing and distribution of bespoke garden furniture. The role has become available due to a sizeable expansion planacross the business as they have opened brand new offices abroad. This role has huge potential for a Management Accountant who has big ambitions as the company is growing at an alarming pace.The role offers a very generous salary package dependent on experience along with the opportunity to have real exposure all the way up to board level.Core Responsibilities

Assist in monthly consolidations and balance sheet reconciliations
Producing and reviewing P&L spreadsheets
Key variance analysis on financial statements with clear commentary
Budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for 2 to 3 business entities
Prep of month-end journals for fixed assets, prepayments & accruals and intercompany
Preparing quarterly VAT returns for review by the Financial Controller
Complete the annual audit deliverables pack
Undertake daily, weekly, period banking
Ensure all recharges to other group companies are made
Ensure all transactions are managed for each business
Update debtors list
Provide support to the FC, FP&A Manager and the FD on various projects

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or Part Qualified (QBE) accountant
FMCG experience desirable not essential
Excellent IT skills and experience using SAGE 300 would be beneficial
Experience of using BPC or similar consolidation/reporting tool
Good levels of Excel knowledge
Able to deal with ambiguity and change and a willingness to collaborate across teams, brands and locations
Problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication skills
