We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship, and work closely with our customers to ensure they get exactly what they need.Due to our significant growth, we want to strengthen our business with a focused, innovative, fact-driven Head of UK and European Sales, who will be based at our manufacturing facility in Greenfield, Oldham. Our Head of UK and European Sales will report directly to our CEO and work closely with other Directors. In this role, you will be leading, managing and coaching our UK Sales Team and European based resellers to provide an excellent customer journey and drive sales through your experience.Main Duties and Responsibilities:You will deliver performance through your style and approach. You will be a leader, a manager, and coach. Responsibilities for our Head of UK and European Sales will include, but are not limited to:- This is a team leadership role. We believe that team leadership is a vital element that will lead to building on our success.- ALL our points of contact with our customers are warm’ - we NEVER have any cold calling. This is a key part of our approach to our customers and the size of the opportunity…- Work closely with the company Directors to agree annual customer sales budgets, continuously monitoring set budgets to ensure that these are achieved.- Ensure that agreed budgets are achieved through your approach, team leadership and sales conversion.- Play a hands-on part in supporting our customer-focused sales approach.- Recognise and act on potential areas of growth.- Work with our Commercial Sales Analyst to build and develop effective sales reporting.- Monitor and promote company policies, process and procedures.- Review and improve sales processes.- Understand performance numbers and statistics and act on the results.- Carry out structured staff reviews.- Lead sales meetings with structure, organisation and discipline. This will include agreed actions and reviews.- Support New Product Development’ (NPD) through customer feedback, suggestions and proactive development.Role Requirements: To join us as our Head of UK and European Sales, you’ll need team management and leadership experience gained within our sector (including the garden buildings sector) or any other similar luxury, customer-facing manufacturing and/or retail environment.This role is an ideal opportunity for an emotionally and intellectually robust, ambitious leader to join us at an exciting period of growth.
