We pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship and work closely with our customers to ensure they get exactly what they need.The Benefits- A competitive salary- Benefits package including pension scheme- Become part of an exceptional teamThis is the ideal opportunity for a qualified accountancy professional to advance their career with our growing company, where our knowledge and expertise are unrivalled.Generations of customers have put their trust in us, due to our level of knowledge and care which ensures we are financially stable with a strong market share.Your expertise will be imperative in allowing us to continue providing our award-winning service and to build on the reputation, beyond compare, that we have grown over the last 80 years.The RoleAs a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of our business through the production of management accounts for the UK business, and where necessary, our USA arm.A key aspect of the role will be to deliver and produce monthly accounts, detailing commentary and analysis to showcase issues and improvements.You will also support the annual budgeting and forecasting process and assist in the weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.Additionally, you will:- Aid in monthly consolidations and balance sheet reconciliations- Prepare accruals and prepayments of subsidiaries- Prepare VAT returns for review by the Financial Controller- Complete the annual audit deliverables pack- Undertake daily, weekly, period banking- Ensure all recharges to other group companies are made- Ensure all transactions are managed for each business- Update debtors list- Provide support to the FC, FP&A and the FD on various projectsAbout YouTo be considered as a Management Accountant, you will need:- To be a professionally or part qualified (QBE) accountant- Experience operating at management accountancy level in a manufacturing operation- Practical knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and P&L- Attention to detail- Flexibility to prioritise and meet deadlinesExperience with Sage 300 would be beneficial, although training will be provided.
