Our values drive our work and we have Clear Expectations, work Better Together, are Constantly Curious and put Health at Heart.We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.The Benefits- 25 working days’ holiday per annum plus statutory holidays- Flexible option for employees to purchase up to five additional days’ holiday- Annual company bonus scheme- Health and Wellbeing allowance- HealthShield flexible health cash-back scheme- Electric Vehicle scheme- Enhanced pension scheme- Cycle to work scheme- Charity days- Full flexible working- Enhanced maternity/paternity schemes- and many more…!Within an open and collaborative environment, you will receive excellent training, as well as ongoing guidance and support to develop your abilities and broaden your expertise.Your Role:- Assisting in the management of the month end closing process for the UK and International business as required.- Control and maintenance of the sales ledger, including raising and posting of sales invoices, preparing monthly reconciliations for P&L Revenues, Deferred income and non-invoiced Debtors.- Working with the contracts team to ensure that Sales Force is updated with most recent customer fees and exchange rate for all products.- Work with a Contracts team member to reconcile the Oracle ERP monthly revenues to the monthly Commercial Reports.- Ensuring all supporting reports for all invoices, deferred Income and non-invoiced debtors are kept update at all times.- Assisting the Group Management Accountant’s work with the Customer Account Managers in handling customer account queries and updates.- Making relevant journal entries for related transactions to aid all reporting.- Assist the Group Management Accountant in preparation of selected Balance Sheet reconciliations.- Processing purchase invoices and expenses.- Collaborate with our US counterparts FDB US on various assignments.- Assist with the Annual Group External Statutory Audit.- Responsibility for continually reviewing, recording and improving procedures.- Other ad-hoc requests that may be assigned from time to time.About You- Qualified ACA/CIMA or ACCA.- Experience of US GAAP.- Confidence in consolidating multiple accounts and developing financial planning templates/models.- Pays attention to detail and ensures quality of deliverables.- Experience using Oracle ERP.- Good communication skills – ability to clearly articulate and explain financial data to both Finance & Non-Finance stakeholders.- Proactive and collaborative.- Capable of building relationships with other staff in Finance and throughout the business.- Strong interpersonal, motivation and conflict management skills.- Pays attention to detail and ensures quality of deliverables.- Continuous improvement in function and role.The candidate for the role of the Assistant Management Accountant will be proactive to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate financial information for the group.
