Job Description

REED HR is delighted to support our client who wishes to recruit an experienced Learning & Development Partner to join their team.This is an excellent opportunity towork with a well-established organisation, who are currently on a journey to refresh, modernise, &simplify the end user experience within L&D throughout the organisation.The L&D Partner will oversee &manage the training function across the two core elements of the organisation &will develop & oversee a small dedicated team to ensure all employees have the necessary skills to fulfil their role &to develop for careerenablingindividuals to provide services of the highest quality.

  • Develop strategic direction of the learning function by contributing to the annual People Plan, agreeing organisational learning objectives &reporting on progress
  • Create a learning plan which reflects a sound understanding of the needs of each business area &prioritises training delivery
  • Design, deliver &procurelearning interventionsincluding the delivery, provision &assessment of relevant vocational qualifications
  • Undertake continuous development of the learning management systemsto update course content,identify & manage course attendees, monitor &report on attendance to ensure mandatory &technical training is delivered
  • Implement LMS improvement projectsto plan &budget
  • Ensurefocus is given to achieving efficiencies in Learning provision &management by streamlining processes &utilising systems
  • Developpolicies &procedures within areas of responsibility ensuring that they are legally compliant &support business objectives
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes &developments in areas of responsibility to ensure mandatory &technical training courses reflect developments
  • Construct &managebudget within area of responsibility
  • Analyse complex data &produce reports &information tailored to various audiences
  • Undertake audits &monitoring ensuringrecommendations for improvement are implemented &compliantwith ISO quality procedures
  • Manage the learning function, developing team members to be successful in their rolesto ensure effective service
  • Ensure all new employees receive aninduction
  • Develop &maintain a network of relationships within business areas to keep informed &up to date on business developments &enableengagement
ESSENTIAL Criteria Knowledge of the Vocational Qualification framework Demonstrable knowledge &expertise in people development practice including contemporary e-learning Chartered MCIPD (or) equivalent educational achievement (Level 5) in a L&D-related subject 3 years minimum recent experience in a learning &development role with 2 years minimum recent experience in managing a team Experienced in the management &development of computerised learning systems &delivering learning interventions Experience in the design, development &delivery of business &management workshops &programmes Experienced in establishing &maintaining professional external partnerships, procurement &contract management Experience of managing a budget &financial reporting Full, current driving licence &use of a carinsured for business use OR Can demonstrate mobility to carry out the job Flexibility to work at multiple locations Prepared to undertake an enhanced DBS DisclosureBenefits:Comprehensive salaryPensionParkingExpensesTechFlexible / hybrid working..
