Job Description

Finance & Administration Manager, AntrimReed Finance is recruiting on behalf of an established commercial client in Antrin town, in the appointment of an experienced Finance & administration Manager. This is a permanent and full time post based on-site.As an Administration Manager you will work directly with the Company Directors, heading up the day-to-day financial activities of their Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland businesses. The duties will include; preparation of month end accounts, VAT returns,bank, and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple accounts in multiple currencies, accruals, and prepayments, cashflow, credit control, audits, and year end statutory accounts.The Administration Manager will also be responsible for monitoring the financial performance of the various departments within the company and reporting any issues to the directors.Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues
  • Prepare and submit information to statutory authorities including HMRC in NI and the Revenue Commission in ROI
  • Liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information
  • Prepare monthly consolidated accounts (P&L and balance sheet)
  • Preparation of annual statutory Accounts
  • Preparation of Tax computations (VAT and Corporation Tax) for NI & ROI
  • Process weekly and monthly payroll
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cashflow statements
  • Manage insurances
  • Develop the forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • Review company internal controls
  • Annual Budgeting
  • Collaborate with the management team to formulate and implement the short-, medium- and long-term strategies for company development
  • In conjunction with the Managing Director, develop and ensure the execution of challenging personal targets
  • Produce regular reports as required by the directors and management team
Criteria: All applicant must demonstrate;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Sage Accounts System or similar
  • Strong IT skills and proven ability with Microsoft Office packages (Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel)
  • Good communicator with team working skills coupled with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive through changes
