As our Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be responsible for marketing these special places imaginatively and effectively. Your contractual location will be Coughton Court however, youll also work across will work across Baddesley Clinton and PackwoodHouse. This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months. Please contact us at .uk, when you apply, to let usknow, quoting the reference number for this vacancy.Reporting to the Experience & Visitor Programming Manager, youll work as part of the Experiences team in Herefordshire, to develop and deliver a year-round communications and marketing plan to share great stories from Berrington Hall, Brockhampton, CroftCastle and The Weir Garden. Youll also get opportunities to share content about our countryside places to help supporters find out more about accessing our sites, our conservation work and the experiences on offer for them. What youll be doing Day to day,you’ll manage and help develop our annual marketing plan to help achieve our ambitious targets, helping us to reach out to our core and new audiences. This will include defining advertising activities and creating promotional materials and updates (acrossall media platforms, including social media and web pages), writing and distributing press releases, crafting new content and representing us on location filming and broadcast media. Were looking for someone who can help us reach larger and more diverse audiences for our places and our digital content. Youll work as part of a team to make sure that were sharing the best stories we can, working closely with key property leads and consultancy.Spreading the word about places to visit in the great outdoors, and raising awareness of our conservation work is key to what were about. Who were looking for To deliver this role successfully, you will need to have;

  • Proven track record in creating, using and editing content in different channels (web, social media , PR, email) based on audience insight and evaluation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent digital and social media skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Advanced IT Skills (including Microsoft Office)
  • Problem solving skills, and ability to work on own initiative
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities and varying pressures to meet measurable targets and deadlines
  • Experience with managing/supervising and motivating a team
