Exciting Opportunity in Cambuslang: Production Team leader Wanted!Cambuslang Immediate Start!£12.48 p/h (Roughly £31,172 per annum)8am-7pm - any 4 of 7 days!Rotational 3 week shift pattern!Increased Overtime Rate!Are you a seasoned production professional with leadership skills Our valued client in Cambuslang is looking for a dedicated Production Team Leader to lead their manufacturing team to success.Production Team Leader Role-Providing support to the Shift Manager in managing a team of operatives producing fresh dough, to meet the requirements of the customers orders within the allocated time frame, whilst ensuring that the production process is followed in line with policies andprocedures. Responsibilities -* Accountable for ensuring dough is produced and the continuity of product is maintained in line with demand of the facility to ensure store order targets are met. * Lead, motivate and supervise a team of Production Operatives, ensuring a fully engaged team who work effectively to meet agreed KPIs* Participate in managing the day-to-day activities within Production whilst sharing activities on the with Operatives as required.* Manage the resource of Production Operatives, including agency colleagues, on shift planning, holiday and overtime planning etc and absence management, including conducting Return to Work interviews.* Ensuring all raw ingredients are of the right quality within their use by date and escalate any concerns to the Manager/Technical team. * Manage the safe start of shift by completing start up checks. * Continuous monitoring of quality standards ensuring checks are completed without exceptions and escalating any issues. * Work closely with Warehouse and Transport teams providing support where required ensuring the safe and accurate completion of all tasks* Carry out weekly stock checks of all Production materials, ensuring data is reported to the Warehouse Team Leader/AX team at WG and AX is updated accordingly * Maintain the maintenance and cleanliness of production and tray wash facilities at the end of the shift. * Comply with all legal and Company policies and procedures regarding health and safety to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.* Manage the day to day operations to ensure compliance with FSSC standards, DPI standards and local food safety legislation. Experience required-* Understanding of the Health & Safety Legislation and Food Safety Standards. * Working to a BRC accreditation, with experience and understanding of. * Experience within a food production environment. * COSHH Certificate and understanding of HACCP. * Education to a minimum of GCSE/Standard Grade Level (including Math & English) * Ability to work within a team to achieve daily production targets.* Ability to communicate with all colleagues and maintain strong working relationships.
